Aeronautical Science Curriculum

Undergraduate students at American Academy of Aeronautics pursue degree programs which combine academic and professional pilot development.. All students must complete requirements for: Commercial Pilot Development, Writing, and General Education. Specific degrees will have varying pre-major and major requirements.

Programs are designed to be completed in 12 academic quarters over three calendar years. The student will typically finish the Commercial Pilot Development, Writing, and pre-major requirements during the first six quarters. The next six quarters are then devoted to a cooperative ("coop") program of completing major requirements for the degree and internship as a flight instructor. General Education courses may be completed any time during the 12 quarters.

Commercial Pilot Development Requirement

Training is spread over six academic quarters.
