Undergraduate and Commercial Pilot Development Programs

Discover Aeronautics is a two-part program designed to help high school seniors, graduates and prospective students explore the programs and people that define American Academy of Aeronautics, and our commitment to undergraduate education, commercial pilot training and financial aid programs within the setting of a top-quartile aviation university.

Part 1: Online Information Session

The session begins with a 50-minute online information session "webinar" conducted by a representative from the office of certificates program admissions, staff instructors, and current students. The information session provides an overview of the undergraduate experience, focusing on you as a candidate, the latest requirements of the airlines and other prospective employer.

The information session will spend additional time on the characteristics that make American Academy of Aeronautics distinctive. The admissions representatives will also address the Academy's admissions process and financial aid.

Part 2: On-site Campus Tour

The second part of the information session is an on-site, student-led walking tour of the facilities, training environment, flight line, research and simulator center at the Carl Mather location. Prospective candidates will have the opportunity to meet with admissions representatives to continue with and plan for their future enrollment, including the financial aid program.
